At TFT we have included a Quiet Time in our daily schedule. Depending upon the age of the child, this could be naptime, but we understand that not all children need to nap so we encourage a Quiet Time so that the child can nap, rest, or look at books. During this time classroom lights are dimmed and music is played softly. Children who do not nap learn to remain quiet and respect others who are napping. Children who fall asleep are allowed to wake up naturally.
